Every Body (2023)
This photo project celebrates queer joy while challenging normative expectations of beauty and representation. Its purpose is to craft a visual language that captures the complexity and diversity inherent in queer identities and experiences.
Simultaneously, the project addresses issues surrounding intersectionality and fatphobia within the LGBTQIA+ community. By highlighting the diverse background and identity of dancer Rafa Marcos – queer, female, Latinx, Person of Color (PoC), and refugee – the project aims to contribute to a more inclusive and diverse understanding of what it means to be queer in 2023 and beyond.
Commissioned by Queer Filmfest München, the project's content was used for posters, a booklet and the trailer. Find more information about the collaboration on qffm.de.
